At Drac Màgic, we think through images to understand the past and present world, as well as to imagine possible futures; an ecofeminist future aware of diversities and free of violence.
Who we are
Drac Màgic is a social initiative cooperative founded in 1971 and dedicated to study and disseminate audiovisual culture.
Our mission is to generate thought and action around the image to contribute to build a responsible, active, and creative society towards visual culture and its role in the creation of imaginaries.
The goal of our activity is to contribute to social transformation from our main
values: cooperativism, feminism, commitment to the culture of peace and attention to diversities.
Our main projects are: Construir Mirades, an educational project for training in audiovisual languages; Barcelona International Women’s Film Festival, a film festival directed by women; and Pack Màgic, a distributor of children’s films. To find out more, click here.
